Danforth Set to Sizzle with Thrill of the Grill

Local Chefs Square Off to Create Best Burger

Who makes the best burger on the Danforth? The public will decide on Saturday July 17, at the Danforth Experience Thrill of the Grill.

For a $5 contribution to the Toronto Kiwanis Boys and Girls Clubs, burger lovers will sample five sliders prepared and seasoned for the occasion by Chefs Anthony Walsh (Allen’s Restaurant), Kevin McKenna (Globe Bistro), Josh Dalton (Auld Spot Pub) Mali Fernandez (Embrujo Flamenco) and Zack Davidson, proprietor of The Friendly Butcher.

“The Danforth is going to sizzle,” said Susan Puff, Executive Director of the Danforth Business Improvement Association (Danforth BIA). “Some of our finest chefs are adding thrill to the grill and helping to raise money for a worthwhile cause.”
