Just a few updates before Taste begins on Friday:
1. Broadview Watermain Construction
- construction will be halted during Taste
- all of the construction materials currently position at Broadview and Danforth will be removed starting tonight through tomorrow so that the area will be clear during Taste
2. Patio Extensions
- Just confirming that if you have a patio extension permit you are able to serve until the new closing time on Sunday which is 10pm
3. Tree Surround Covers
- Once again this year we're installing the covers on our tree surrounds in order to protect them from damage etc. during Taste
4. Danforth BIA Contacts during Taste
- Your Board Chair, Albert Stortchak, and myself will be available throughout the Festival. The best way to reach us is via email.

5. Taste Permits
- All Taste permits including Patio Extension permits will be delivered to you tomorrow (Friday, Aug. 7) in the morning.
