There’s nothing we love more than sharing our passion for food.

Blake and Dave, the owners of De La Mer Fresh Fish Market, are both professionally trained cooks and between them have worked in some of the finest establishments in Toronto.

Blake’s zeal began around the age of four when he would visit the Ontario Food Terminal with his father, gaining an appreciation for fresh produce and great food.

Dave was initiated into the gastro-gusto beside his mom, baking bread and experimenting in the kitchen from the time he was tall enough to burn himself on the stove.

Our staff members share in our passion for seafood and love educating our customers about everything from sustainable practices to how our fish are caught/raised and where they are from. We also love to suggest pairings such as sauces and accompaniments to provide you with the best possible meal planning experience.
