Good Morning All,

We've received notification from the Toronto Parking Authority that they will be installing sensors in the various Green P lots on Danforth from Broadview to Woodbine. In our BIA this will affect the Erindale lot located behind our Shopper's Drug Mart and the lot located on the north east side of Danforth and Playter. This work will take place this coming Monday, December 9th and Wednesday, December 11th sometime in January (Thank you Councillor Paula Fletcher for getting this date moved away from holiday shopping season).

I've argued with TPA that it is crazy to be doing non-emergency work during the busy holiday shopping season and asked that this be bumped to January but to no avail. Attached is their notice which provides full details (note - this notice reflects the original dates of Dec 9 and 11).

In addition to these closures the TPA has also rented out the Erindale lot to a film company on Wednesday, December 18th. The production company will take up 68 spots, leaving 25 spots open for regular use. Again I argued that doing this one week before Christmas isn't welcome and again to no avail. Further details for this film production will be available closer to the date.
