Holiday update from Susan Puff, BIA Executive Director

With one week til Christmas there were a few things that I wanted to pass on to you:

1. Garbage and Recycling pick ups over the holidays - business as usual December 24 and 31 for our area.

2. Snow and ice - please remember to shovel and salt your walkways.  We seem to have gotten snow much earlier this year and we want all of our customers to be safe as they stroll through our area.

3. Recent break-ins - many businesses in our area and further east have been hit by thieves.  The police are working on trying to apprehend the person(s) but haven't as of yet.  Attached below please find an information sheet from the police for your review.  There are a few tips to help deter break-ins.

4. Holiday social media - our social media team, emails included above, would like to be able to promote on our website and on twitter any of your holiday specials - boxing day sales or special New Year's Eve packages.  If you have information please hit "reply all" and Keven, Lanrick and myself will get the information and start the promotions.

Finally, on behalf of the Board of Directors, the committees and myself, I wanted to wish you all the best of the season and a wonderful and successful new year.  It is an absolute pleasure to work for each and everyone of you.

Over the holiday break I will be in town and as always, I'm on email 24/7.  If you need anything please do not hesitate to send an email.

Cheers,
Susan
