Canada Emergency Commercial Rent Assistance for small businesses (CECRA): Additional details available now

Good Afternoon All,

Sorry for the third email today but..... CMHC has just released some new details for the CECRA program.  I urge you to share this with your landlords (some landlords are included in this email but not all).  I also encourage landlords and tenants to read through all of the details and to look at the samples documents included.  These samples will assist you in preparing your application and have everything ready to submit once this program is available.  There is also a schedule for registering once the program is available - for Ontario landlords you will be able to register on Day 2 or Day 3 - depending on the number of tenants in your building.  So as an example if the program opens next Monday that would be day 1 - you can register on Tuesday if you have 10 or more tenants and on Wednesday (Day 3) if you have fewer tenants.

Thanks,
Susan
