Good Afternoon All,

 

As you know, every morning I watch the PM's daily briefing on CTV News and then update all of you; and, every morning while waiting for the PM CTV interviews Dr. Abdul Sharkawy.  Dr. Sharkawy is an Infectious Diseases Specialist with the University Health Network here in Toronto.  I find his daily CTV interviews very helpful and easy to understand.  Today Dr. Sharkawy was asked how to properly wear a mask now that Dr. Tam has recommended the use of masks.  It was really informative.  So after the PM finished I emailed Dr. Sharkawy. I told him him about our Broadview Danforth BIA and all of our great businesses who are slowly opening and needing to use masks and asked if, despite his crazy busy schedule, he might be able to do a video on how to properly wear a cloth mask.  I asked for the cloth masks specifically as that is what most of us are using. 

 

Dr. Sharkawy is included in the bcc of this email and I would just like to thank him so much - he not only replied to my email almost instantly, he went on and took the time to make the video. Eszter has posted the video on our BIA You Tube channel and I've included the link below.   I ask that you all watch the video and please share this video through your social media so your customers can benefit from it as well.  Honestly none of us really know what we're doing with our masks and this video is truly helpful.
